About Luke Hill
Austin, Texas-based guitarist and singer Luke Hill has been performing professionally for over ten years, bringing his own unique style of european-influenced swing music to fans all over the world through his various live performances and numerous recordings.
Luke has performed his music worldwide, touring throughout the U.S., United Kingdom, Europe and Asia, playing with his own band and also touring with such well-known performers as Bob Dylan, Jimmie Vaughan, Junior Brown and The Hotclub of Cowtown. He is also one of the founding members of Paris49, Carnaval Mystique and Elana James & The Continental Two.
In addition to his touring and live performances, Luke is featured on a number of albums including Elana James' debut release and his own solo album, entitled "Russian Lullaby." His compositions are also featured in several films including "Strung Out" and "One Last Goodbye."
Combining the influence of the legendary gypsy guitarist Django Reinhardt with his love for world music and early swing/jazz, Luke creates a distinctive style of playing that makes for a unique and electrifying live performance.
